Feature

New structure design for kitchen exhaust (PL type only)
-- Motor placed outside airflow, effectively avoid smoke pollution motors, along with good cooling effect and extend the service life of the motor.
-- Sealed bearing shield set on shaft seal, which can effectively prevent contamination of the bearing gas fumes.
-- The large access doors for easy removal, can impeller, main shaft and bearings as a whole for maintenance, and cleaning the impeller usually can be done by the access door as well.
-- A sump is designed on the bottom of fan casing, for collecting oil flowing along the casing wall from the impeller to defend pipe pollution by oil. The sump is should be disassembled for regular cleaning. The sump should include an outfall for being collected with pipe to exhaust polluted water and oil.
-- The fan casing set has a bearing leads to grease nipple, bearing grease filling is very convenient.
-- According to the site installation conditions, allows the motor mounting position in 3 or 9 o’clock direction (facing the inlet), ease of installation and save space.

Tech Spec

Fan Type
The fan shall be in-line centrifugal type, with aluminum backward inclined centrifugal wheel. The fan wheel Venturi shall have round curved section to smooth the air flowing to the wheel cone. The wheel shall be balancing tested dynamically to level G2.5 as per AMCA204 standard.

Quality Standards
The fan shall be tested in accordance with AMCA Standard 210 and 300. The manufacturer must own the production license for industrial products and ISO9001 quality system authentication.

Fan Housing
Fan housing shall be constructed of continuously welded cold rolled steel panel with epoxy surface, the flange shall be integrated machine shaping

Coating
Fan surface shall be polished and cleaned up to remove particulates, welding slag, burrs, sharp edge, iron, oil, then epoxy coating [options: colour changes are available], fan surface shall be free of sags, wrinkle, blisters, exposed metal or peeling after coating. It shall be no corrosion and rust at least 10 years in allowable working condition.

Belt Drive    
Shaft: fan shaft shall be heat treated through soaking furnace to the hardness level of HB370, material is 40Cr, and the surface shall be hard film corrosion treated. The fan shaft shall be balanced together with the wheel. And the shaft design speed shall at least exceed 25% of the maximum fan operation speed.
Pulleys: fan pulleys shall be sized for a minimum of 150% of driven horsepower. Pulleys shall be of cast iron type, keyed and securely attached to the wheel and motor shafts. Motor pulleys shall be adjustable for final system balancing. Conical (DQ) type bushings shall be equipped for easy removal of the pulleys.
Bearings: bearings shall be selected for a minimum (L-10) life in excess of 80,000 hours at maximum cataloged operating speed. Bearing type shall be permanently sealed, re-lubricable pillow block metal ball bearing.
Drive support: drive assemblies shall be supported by heavy gauge powder coated steel, mounted on vibration isolators. The belt tension shall be adjusted through motor support plate, the design shall make sure the fan shaft and motor shaft is always parallel.
When mounting the fan, motor may be chosen to install up or down or left or right, depending on being convenient for your mounting. Eight mounting supports are welded on cylinder uniformly. Four mounting foots are fastened to mounting supports by bolt. It is optional for fan selecting suitable mounting method to reduce mounting cost and mounting space.

Automatic kitchen grease (Only for kitchen exhaust type)
When mounting the fan, motor may be chosen to install left and right, for saving mounting space and being convenient for repair and maintenance. Eight mounting supports are welded on cylinder uniformly. Four mounting foots are fastened to mounting supports by bolt. It is optional for fan selecting suitable mounting method to reduce mounting cost and mounting space. Fan should be driven by belts, and the motor is set outside of airflow, ensuring efficient heat radiating. An access door should be designed on the fan casing, and the door is big enough for disassembling the impeller, main shaft and bearings as a whole for maintenance, and cleaning the impeller usually can be done by the access door as well. A sump is designed on the bottom of fan casing, for collecting oil flowing along the casing wall from the impeller to defend pipe pollution by oil. The sump should be disassembled for regular cleaning. The sump should include an outfall for being collected with pipe to exhaust polluted water and oil.

Motor
Motor shall be carefully matched to the fan load, IP 54, and insulation class F. The motor bearings shall be re-lubricable ball type. Motor and drive shall be mounted on vibration isolators, and out of the air stream to avoid grease or dirt accumulation.

Nameplate
Permanently fixed aluminum nameplate shall be fixed on fan body clearly display fan mark, product model and serial number (i.e.: unique ID for each fan), so that the customer can use this number to find out the parts used.

Acceptable Manufacturers
Qualified suppliers shall have an AAA credit rating. Providing INFINAIR or similar products, with their design based on YFICA models of INFINAIR.
